The main conflict in this story was world war 2 in which there was a lot of violence and death unfortunately for the people in this story the war was resolved through more violence and death and I am specified to give and example on how this happened but the thing is I can't because the entire book is the example not only is this clearly obvious in the book but you can also tell by the title war horse but the example is that the war ended in a battle at the French trenches which if my history is correct was extremely violent and bloody..................................and wet.
