Private Peaceful by Michael Morpurgo

Hi guys, 

I am reading an Epic book called Private Peaceful by Michael Morpurgo. I have so far read 88 pages out of 202 pages. 

               This book up to now is about three brothers with their mother. The oldest brother is called Joe, his nick name is Big Joe because he is tall and sturdy, however sadly he has brain damage and cannot speak or understand well. The middle child is called Charlie, he is three years older than the youngest boy who is called Thomas. Thomas is the main character and as this book is written in the first person he is telling us what is happening. The father died and the mother is now trying to look after them all.   

I really recommend this book to girls and boys, because for girls this book is sort of sad yet interesting and for boys there will be further on a lot about the first world war. Though this book might seem by the cover only a boys book Michael Morpurgo used real facts and then invented interesting characters which make this a story that girls will also enjoy.                    
 

Here is a word that I don't think that everybody knows that meaning of : Vault                                              

                                                 

Definition: A roof in the form of an arch normally in churches.
