Elijah of Buxton

The theme of my book, Elijah of Buxton, is that you should never trust a person that you don't know for sure can be trusted. For example, Mr. Leroy knew that the Preacher was a little bit suspicious but he still trusted the Preacher with the money and he ended up shooting a man and stealing the money. Another example is when the Preacher actually stole a child, Elijah still trusted him. If I was Elijah, I would've told Mr. Leroy not to give the money to the Preacher. "Then the most terrorific thing happened. Mr.Leroy showed his teeth like a mad man and snatched that axe out of the oak and raised it over his head." This quote is located on page 248-249. This quote is a good quote because Mr.Leroy finally showed his emotions.
