The main conflict is kind of how Percy goes to "camp half-bood" and meets new people. He meets Annabeth and she and Chiron (weird half-horse guy) talk to him about how some people don't make it to the camp and outside it is very dangerous for half-bloods or half-gods (same thing, whatever you prefer to call them) and Percy and Annabeth are trying to find out who is his father, what god. Percy killed a Minotaur and he doesn't think its a big deal but everyone is like "Oh my! Wow!". Percy and Annabeth heard Chiron and Grover talking about something about summer solstice and they don't know what it is. 

I'm not really sure how the ending will be, But i think this summer solstice thing is probably dangerous. They are also having "Capture the Flag" and Annabeth wants to be with Percy in the team. In her mind she said maybe Percy is the one for her. I also think aside to the dangerous summer solstice thing maybe Annabeth and Percy will end up together... Percy is also missing his mom in the underworld, maybe he will try to get her back.
