MY FAVORITE HOLIDAY

 

My favorite holiday is Christmas. Each year we spend Christmas at our house or at our cousin’s house in Slovenia. For Christmas we put up our tree and the family comes over and we decorate it. Every Christmas somebody else gets to put the star on top of the tree. My grandmother makes the best apple strudel and cheese pie. Each year we have a turkey, different salami and cheese at the table and we drink Champagne for kids. The best part  are the presents. After midnight we get to open up our presents. We let our family see what we got that year and we stay up all night playing and dancing to music. Sometimes we have a video game contest and everybody can be a part of it. Now I feel excited about CHRISTMAS and I have to wait 2 more months.
