Hunger Games

I am currently reading a book for my book project called the Hunger Games. The author of this book is Suzanne Collins. There are 436 pages in this book.

The protagonist in this book is Katniss. The antagonist is Coriolanus Snow and all the other people in the different districts.  

 Katniss is an independent survivalist she is good at thinking outside the box. Katniss's past (her father's death, mother's depression, and her family being near starvation) have made her a natural survivor. She has shown she will protect people who she loves, no matter the cost to herself, for example like when she volunteers for the Games to save her little sister Prim. Most of her life before the Games was spent keeping herself and her family alive. She is a 16 year old girl who ha black hair and gray eyes.

A cruel old man, Coriolanus Snow is strict, and not afraid to torture or kill people who annoy him. He wants no one to stand in his way of ruling as president. The President is a small, thin man, with white hair and thick lips he is 76 years old.

Less than 10 years ago, a murderous genius named Ellery Willux unleashed a series of devastating detonations onto the world. In Fuse partridge rejoins, as well as his half sister Pressa and all their comrades who are trying not only to survive in the post-apocalyptics world, but to radically change it for the better and perhaps even save millions of lives. 

When the story begins, they are all working together to face the new challenges set in motion by the Dome. Now the Wretches, those scarced and damaged survivors outside the Dome, must contend not only with the brutal Special forces, soldiers who have been "enchanced" and altered into fighting machines, but also shildren who are programmed to deliver threatening messages from Willux. One of the children is Wilda, and Pressia, Lyda and the others know her messgae is directed at Partridge. His father wants him in the Dome an is willing to kill to get him back.

The Protagonists in Fuse are all of the people who are trying to fight for equality and who are trying to make life better for people outside the Dome. Our main heroes are Partridge and Pressia. There are many Antagnists in Fuse, such as wWillux (The main leader of the Dome), the detonations, the killing robots....In fuse the conflits are Man v.s. Man and Man v.s. Nature.

Touching Spirit Bear by Ben Mikaelsen

I am reading a book called "Touching Spirit Bear" by the author called Ben Mikaelsen. This book has exactly 240 pages and is about a boy who is against the law and is called Cole Matthews. Do you know that a protagonist can also theoretically be the bad guy. Well that is the case in this book and with Cole. As I said, he has committed many crimes even though he is just 15 years old. He is not a positive kid and, as I said, is kind of a criminal. At the start of the book he hospitalised a boy that went to his school by hitting his head against the sidewalk. That is just one of  the bad things he did. Now, he is sent to a deserted island to improve his behaviour. Even though he thinks that won't help and that he will never change. Something on that island will help him overcome his struggles...

Now, the antagonist or antagonists in this book! In this book there is no one to help Cole by their for him. He has parents, but they don't care about him that much and therefore don't have that big of an influence on him. So, essentially he is all alone in this big world! To him everyone around him is an "antagonist." That might change after his stay on the deserted island.

 The author of this book Is Carl Hiaasen. The book has 292 the book for me Is really Interesting and I really like te way It starts. There Is no protagonist and antagonist In this part and chapters because I maybe didn't come to that certain part yet.

Chapter 16- Rescue

RESCUE

They reach the clearing just in time to see a small airship. It takes Matt a moment to realize it is the pirate ship, but by then it is too late. They have already been spotted. Matt quickly makes up a story to explain their presence on the island, telling Kate as they go along, and reminding her to keep waving and smiling to reassure the pirate crew that they are friends and can be trusted. Szpirglas introduces himself as Captain Anglesea, and claims to be from the Sky Guard, offering them a meal and shelter, claiming to be anxious to hear about their adventure. Szpirglas tests Matt a dozen different ways, trying to trip him up without success as they sit there drinking the mango juice offered. They are served dinner, and though it was overdone, the pirates dug in with enthusiasm as did Matt and Kate who were starved. Matt realizes that the mango juice is spiked as he begins to get drunk. 

Kai-Airborn chapter 16 summary

      In this chapter Matt and Kate found shelter from the cloud cat. When they ran out into a field while Szpirglas's airship was landing. Matt and Kate had to think of a story and hope that the pirates didn't notice them. Their story was that their airship crashed in a typhoon and they were the only survivors. Szpirglas "fell" for it and led them to his village on the island. When they got there Crumlin told them to sit at a table. While they were siting he told them about the cloud cats and how he hunts them. Then when Szpirglas came Matt started talking with him about how they washed up on the island. Then Szpirglas's son came named Theodore. Then Szpirglas made them drunk by giving them mango juice with alcohol. That is the summary of the chapter.
