Тhe Settting and Main Conflict of Where the Red Fern Grows

The setting of my book is a very small village in the past. I don't know the exact time all I know is that the narrator is actually grandpa telling us some stories of his childhood.

The main conflict in the book is the hunting and all the things the dogs have been through. It's true that they have treed many many coons but it would be a lie if I said it wasn't complicated and required lots of hard work. But on the end, when you look at all they've achieved: won a gold cup on a big hunt where all the best hunter in the state compete, treed the ghost coon (that everybody said was impossible to kill)... And just look at the fact what they've been through and how much they love each other and you'll realize all the hunting and adventures were worth it.

But,unfortunately, the story doesn't end happily. Billy and the two dogs fight a lion and Old Dan dies. The way he died is scary, disgusting but more than all of that sad. Just as the happiest moment in the book ends they go hunting ad Old Dan dies. I cried when he described the injuries of his dogs. And then Little Ann was so sad and weak and couldn't continue living that she died too.

Every hunt was written with many, many details in the book especially all the tricks the coons played on Billy's dogs. So, I guess that's the main conflict. The main conflict goes on through the whole book.

There were many predicaments the dogs got into and had to help each other to get out of them like when Little Ann jumped over the river and didn't make it. She fell, broke the ice, and fell into the icy cold water. If Billy hadn't rescued her she would have died of coldness.

Malaika- Good Enough- Setting and Conflict

Setting:
My story takes place in  America in loads of places: Patti's house, Ben;s house, Korean Church Woodward High school, the shopping mall, The clash concert, all of her college interview rooms and many more.

Conflict:
The main conflict in my story is when she first meets Ben, because he is the center of all her problems. Ben is the center of all her problems because if she hadn't met Ben at the All-state auditions then, first she wouldn't have messed up her audition and she would have been concertmaster for the fourth year in a row instead of assistant concertmaster, second, she wouldn't have started lying to her parents to go to his house or bands and any other things, and lastly without Ben she would be much more focused and she wouldn't have to study all the time to keep up with the very high level her parents want her to be at in school.

Code Name Verity

                                                         Code Name Verity

Code name verity is a very interesting story because it is told in 3rd person. Most of the story is about England and how it was like in the major cities such as Newcastle or London during WW2. Their is a bit about life in Edinburgh,Scotland and west France though the story also is in a room where nobody knows were it is, but most probably in Nazi Germany.

The Conflict

The conflict started at the very beginning of the book it was ww2. William Wallace was sent to France to negotiate and help  English to french though strait away when she comes to France she is caught by the Nazis and the story becomes that she tells the Nazis everything she knows while telling the story in England.

Engame: The Calling by James Frey

Endgame: The Calling by James Frey

Setting

Endgame is set in modern times, a little in the future all across the globe as the Players try to find three Keys. Earth Key, Sky Key and Sun Key. They adventure all starts in X'ian, China. All the Players in the Chinese Pyramids in X'ian. Then the Players travel all across China. Some to Shanghai, some to Beijing and some to Tianjin. All of the twelve Players go a separate way. At the end of the book They all end up in Shaanxi, China in the lair of the Terracotta Soldiers.
Conflict

The main conflict in Endgame is definitely external. 12 teenagers are fighting to the globe to save their tribe. They all have different tactics and ways of trying to win Endgame. Another big conflict (internal) is one of the 12 main characters, Sarah Alopay, is deciding whether she should save herself or the one she loves.

Double Identity-Margaret Peterson Haddix-Setting and Conflict-Inger

Conflict:
In my story the conflict is if Bethany is a real human or not and will she ever see her parents again. If her parents have left her with a note, four different identity's and a lot of cash, how will she know that see can see them again.

Settings:
The setting of my story is Sander field, Illinois. It all happens there. The story begins in a car when they are driving to Bethany's aunt at night. The whole story happens in about two weeks.

                                                                  Pales

The protagonist in my story is David he is a good person. He goes to school but people don't like him because he is a pale. Pales are people that died once and then they came back to life with serum [drug] that they made but the only difference is that when you came back you are all white. Your hair is white body and eyes are blue people don't like them so in school everybody jokes him and fight. But there are becoming more of those pales so he got friends. he died in car crash and he lives on graveyard because the law don't let them live in house and do the things as normal people they ignore pales and they act to them like they are dead. He got the fiends that become pales. So David is a protagonist and he is a good person in the story. And antagonist in the story is Kyle he go with pales to school and he hate them so he always fight them and his friend Jim become a pale and then Kyle hate him because he is a pale. So David a Jim become friends because they are both pales

Seohyun-Setting and conflict of When you reach me

Conflict-
The main conflict in this book is that Miranda has to figure out who sent the notes and what the notes mean. She also has to find out who the laughing man is.

Setting-

The story takes place in Upper West side of New York City in 1978 and 1979

KIKI- Setting and conflict of my story

Conflict

The main conflict in this book is that Gilda has to find out  more about the ghost of Dolores Lambert the girl that drowned in a frozen lake on thanksgiving and is now stalking Gilda Joyce because she screamed her name on the bridge. Gilda also has to prove why and how Dolores Lambert drowned, and that is her mission.

Setting
The story took place in present day time in the US in campus of a girls boarding school "lady of sorrow"

Blog setting

The main setting of the book  iFunny is in a  small town called Long Island. The story is in the the present. Long  Island is a town with a long beach and friendly people. Long island is were the main character of the book lives with his step parent and siblings. Another setting is New York City. The funniest kid contest is held there and the main character will attend that contest. New York is a big town with tall, grey skyscrapers.

The main conflict of the story is that the main character gets bullied every single day at school. At one point the bullying gets so bad that Jamie, the main character, gets so sad that he gives up on telling jokes. Telling jokes is his talent and he shouldn't give up.I think the conflict will be solved when Jamie's uncle will convince Jamie to tell jokes again, and to go to the concert.

Setting and Conflict of my story-Milos

Cirque Du Freak

Setting:

The setting of this story takes place in the modern times. It is mostly based in the small town where Darren lives. The setting happens mostly in the freak show/circus. The circus is a illegal freak show where there are monsters that show off their powers. A lot of action takes place at the school, Darrens house, Steves house and the hospital.

Conflict:

The conflict in this book is when the kids go to the freak show. They get obsessed with the monsters there. When they go back home Darren goes off trying to steal a vampire's spider. He succeeds but that is when the problem begins. The spider belonged to Mr.Crepsley, the vampire and he wants it back. Also the spider ends up bitting Steve by the neck and maybe he will die. I think the spiders bite will not kill Steve because the doctors will probably find a cure for him.

Nina- Gilda Joyce The Ghost Sonata- Setting

In my book the setting takes place in England, London. It also takes place in Oxford University. I imagine, that it's raining and that its cold. In Oxford, there is a beautiful hall were there is a piano and it looks kind of like a castle. Gilda, Wendy and their friends are staying at the Wyntel house in Oxford, a guest house were they are staying.

SETTING AND CONFLICTS of my novel.- Nini

MIDDLE SCHOOL, THE WORST YEARS OF MY LIFE - NINI

Settings - The main setting of my book is in the main character, Rafe's school, H.V.M.S, which stands for "Hills Village Middle School" in Jules SUV. Of course there are many other settings like his house, a park but this is the main one which is important. Rafe sees his school as prison because he hates middle school and its the worst years of his life. It didn't say in the book how the school really looked but by knowing that Rafe thinks of it as prison, I can imagine how the school really was a prison. H.V.M.S is just a normal school with lots of classrooms, lots of teachers, has a cafeteria and has a lot hallways that no one is supposed to be running in. (Part of school rules.) There are school bus at his school where he goes to school everyday and there is a american flag in front of his school. This book takes place in the present. Rafe talks about his everyday in school and when he comes back from school, so its kind of like a diary but not necessarily a diary. He also talks about what happens everyday in school and everywhere else.

Main Conflict/s-There are 2 main conflicts in this book so far.
So the first one is that Rafe is trying to violate/ break every rule of the school in the " HVMS Code of Conduct", from the moment he got the book of rules, it was his worst enemy, he does this breaking every rule thing with OPERATION R.A.F.E.
Rules
Aren't
For
Everyone
That means each rule has its points when broken, by that I mean when he breaks a rule, he get amount of points. Its easy for him to break the rules but hard for him after that when he gets in trouble either with the teachers or the principle and his parents after that. It not hard for him with the teachers but really hard if his mom and stepfather finds out. They have a family meeting which is talking about his mistakes and why did he do this just for the first two or three days of school. Rafe said: " Rules are made for breaking".
The second conflict of this book is Miller the Killer. Miller the Killer is a giant guy in his school. (By that I meant much bigger that Rafe.) He is really evil. He is big, has XXXL paws as Rafe calls it, is bold and likes punching people especially Rafe.  As I can see, Rafe is not scared of anything except for Miller the Killer. Miller the Killer would even put his XXXL paws on Rafe's neck and lift it and even sometimes slam you into the wall. That's why Rafe is scared of him. I think that Rafe will solve his problem by being in trouble after breaking a rule by stopping breaking rules because I think it would get even worse. For the second conflict, I think that he will go report to the principle about Miller the Killer being mean and trying to kill him. That might get Miller into trouble and he might possibly stop.

Setting and conflict.

In a far future after the alien invasion the setting is in a newly rebuilt world that is more unstable than most might think Ender has been sent to train  on battle school a giant space station circulating closely around earth it is built of two main structures the main building is a giant circle based around a dome which contains the battle rooms. the main building holds the barracks, dining room, video room, showers and the game room. the dome has the battle rooms they are used to set up groups of students against each other to fight in zero gravity.

after the alien invasion that caused major destruction and chaos but was in the end pushed back by the human fleet. Now eighty years later the world is once again at peace
but there is rising tension between Russia and the United states, and an with another alien attack threatening to happen at any given time Ender has a lot to do. Now struggling with why the world is worth saving he discovers that the enemy might be much closer the what he always thaught but now is not the time to dwell in those matters because he has an army to lead and a world to save.

Setting and Conflict Miles

Setting - The setting in my book is the Jedi Academy. The Jedi Academy is on a planet called Coruscat. Inside the Jedi academy there are dorms, lockers and classrooms. One thing I find interesting is that there are bullies at the Jedi Academy. This book takes place in the present, but on a different planet. The main character lives on a planet called Tatooine.

Conflict- The main conflict in the story is that Roan, the main character, can not use the Force. This type of conflict is called Man vs. Self because Roan is struggling to use the Force. The characters in this story are Yoda and Roan's classmates. Roan's problem is resolved by him thinking he will fail but then he uses the Force with out realizing it that is how to use it is how I think the book will end.
WHITE DOLPHIN: SETTING,CONFLICT AND RESOLUTION
GILL LEWIS
This novel is set in a quiet fishing town in Cornwall in recent times.
Kara, the protagonist, tacitly creeps out of school almost every day to meet her father, at a gloomy harbor.
She spends time there with him sailing and fishing on their boat. Her description of the harbor is not very flattering. “The air is thick with the smell of beer and chips.”
As the story progresses, a reef becomes the central setting because Kara and her friends are campaigning to save it. This is also part of the main conflict of this story.
A Dolphin is stranded in the reef because of its severe injuries.
This was caused by Duggie Evens, he is the main antagonist.

He decides to trawl the whole reef with his special machines and destroy all the underwater wildlife. This is the main conflict.
Lead by Kara, all the civilians in the town try to stop him, but will they succeed at the end of this novel.
The settings and conflicts of this story are:

The story takes place in a small village on the west coast of Korea, mid-to late 12th century. The main characters, who are Tree ear and Crane man, both live under a worn out bridge in the village. The master potter, Min, lives in a nice wealthy house with his wife. Min's backyard is the setting of where he meets Tree ear and where he spied on him. For now, the main conflict in the story is when Tree ear works for Min and tries to find many ways to get to make a pot himself. I think Crane man will guide Tree ear along the way and will give him wise advises along the way. I think this will be resolved when Tree ear finds out he is awesome at making pots and Min sees that the little boy is better of a potter than himself.

Setting and Conflict

The book is happening in a city called Stonetown, near a port called Stonetown harbor is where Reynie lives. He lives in a orphanage for he is an orphan himself. But the main setting of the book is on Nomansan Island. Nomansan Island is obviously an island who Mr. Curtain bought and built his school. The island has cliffs and hills and a lot of trees. It is a very green and pretty place but the island has a lot of traps in the ground. On the island like I mentioned there is a school. That school is a very big school. Connected to the school is a very big tower, which is Mr. Curtain's.

The book is happening in our time. I'm not really sure what year but I guess 2006 or 2007. Just a guess.

The main conflict of my novel is that Mr. Curtain created this school / organization. Obviously children go to this school and it is like any other normal school. Except for 1 simple detail. Mr. Curtain trains a couple of students each year to become messengers. Messengers are children who say any word but there is a special computer which translates that word into another word. It only works with children voices though. Anyway the word that computer makes is like a code. So if a child says I love apples, the computer will translate it to a secret code sentence. That code is very dangerous though cause it can destroy the world or create big problems. Mr. Curtain is also know as the sender because he takes the secret code and he sends it to other schools and that's how they communicate secretly and nobody will know what it means. Of course once you become a messenger you are not aloud to leave the school or tell anybody about the school. Mr. Curtain also takes random people and drains out their memory and makes them his servants.

The people who are involved in this conflict are Mr. Curtain, Mr. Benedict, Reynie, Sticky, Kate and Constance because Mr. Curtain is the person who created this conflict. Mr. Benedict is trying to solve this conflict, so he hired these 4 kids to go to the school. Reynie, Sticky, Kate and Constance because once they become messengers they are not allowed to leave the school which means that they are stuck in the school forever and if they try to escape they are in grave danger or they might get brainwashed.

I think that if Reynie, Sticky, Kate and Constance continue getting good grades then they could become messengers and then they send the secret messages with Morse code to Mr.  Benedict then they could think of something to destroy Mr. Curtain and his school.

Setting and Conflict- Christoffer

My book takes place during the WWII in Italy. It takes place in about the 1940s. During the setting is really hard for everyone. There is a lot of conflict and many people die where the book takes place. It takes place in a city called Florence in Italy.
The main conflict is the war against Hitler and the Germans. It the conflict many innocent people get killed. Everyone is involved, but the people who mainly are involved are the Partisans, Paolo and his family, their maid, the Germans soldiers, Joe (a fleeing Canadian person and fleeing from the Germans) and Guido, Paolo's dog who got killed. I think there will end by either the Partisans killing Hitler or the Allies (the countries fighting against Hitler) will kill Hitler.

Bridge To Terabithia - Katherine Paterson

The main protagonist is a boy called Jess. He is a lovable, hard-working boy who ever since he was little loved to draw. He dreams about being the fastest runner in his grade and the whole school. His motivation for being the fastest runner started when he won the race and was the winner for one day and a half. Now he wanted it to last for much longer. He practices really hard each morning in order to achieve. In the house where he lives there are five more people, his mom and his four sisters, out of wich two are older than him. He is not treted so well by his two older sisters, while his yonger sister worships him. His dad is almost always absent traveling for work and back and exhausted from hard work. All the children except the baby have to help their mother with the household, planting and picking beans and putting them into cans. Unlike her children  their mother rearely did anthing and had a very bad tempor. She often yelled at them saying they were lazy.
Jess felt very lonley as if he had nodody to talk to. It bothered him he was practicaly the only man in the family because his father was never at home, even in the rare moments when he was he never had any understanding nor signs of affections for his only son. It was just the opposite, he always criticized him. For example when he told his father he wanted to become an artist his father was not supportive nor happy. Jess felt nobody in his family, not even the whole world understands him exept for Miss Edmunds his music teacher. She admired his unusual animal drawings, supported him and told him to keep it up. She was the only person Jess felt connected to. He was in love with her. He also liked the fact Miss Edmunds was unique and different from everybody else.

                        A year Down Yonder

The main character from my book is Mary Alice, she is from Chicago she has a older brother Joey who was usually coming with her to her grandma's house, but now she came alone with her cat Bootsie. She came to her grandma's house for the whole year. Her grandmas name is  Dowdel. The first day she went to school there was this mean girl called Mildred Burdick, she was really mean to everyone. Whenever someone said something to her they would have to give her their lunches or she would ask for a dollar. I think she is the antagonist of this story because she was very mean to Mary Alice, and she said she owns her a dollar. Mildred thought Mary is a rich Chicago girl and that's why she said that Mary should give her a dollar. I also think Mary is the protagonist, she is really nice to everybody and she doesn't deserve  somebody like Mildred  to be mean to her and to annoy her.

I really like this book because it has a very interesting beginning and middle, and who knows maybe the ending will be even more interesting.

Locked- Mia Stankovic                         Jonathan Marry-Todd

My book is called LOCKED. I don't really like it because it is really grouse it talks about wolf-kids who kind of eat chickens from a local farmer Callie Murdock's  garden or just kill them.
The main character is Jackie (girl) who lives in Bridgewater, her "best friend" Francis (wolf-kid).
Side characters are; Mom, dad, principal , brother and other wolf-kids.
In the story Jackie watches this YouTube video, it started with a reporter talking to the local farmer Callie Murdock . The farmer complained that kids were killing her chickens. In the middle of the video Jackie saw her best friend from sixth grade Francis he was wearing his old bracelets and a wolf  tail.

Antagonist: Wolf-kids (Connors Tailors, Mike Sizamore, Gwen O'Gara, and Francis Masterson- eleventh graders.) and Student Council president Rosa De La Torre

Protagonist: Jackie and her family, some friends.

Inger-Double Identity by Margaret Peterson Haddix

Double Identity by Margaret Peterson Haddix

In my book the protagonist is:
Bethany
She is 12 and she wants to be a movie set designer. Her parents dropped her off at her off at her aunt's house at the beging of the story. She founds out that she is her older dead sisters clone.

Other protagonist are:
Myrile(Bethany's aunt)
Joss(Myrile daughter)
Walter(Bethany's dad)
Hillary(Bethany's mom)
Elizabeth(Bethany's dead sister)

In my book the antagonist is
Dalton Van Dyne
He tried to make a clone of him self and hired Walter to do it. Dalton went to jail and instead of making a clone of Dalton, Walter made a clone of his dead daughter. Dalton follows them through the story. In the end, he is a protagonist.

Isidora-Where the red fern grows by Wilson Rawls

The protagonists are Billy Colman (though his name isn't mentioned very often since he's the narrator) and his dogs Little Ann and Old Dan.
Billy was ten when he started wanting two hunting hounds really badly. By the time he was eleven he  decided to work hard and sell many different things in his grandpa's store until he got 50 dollars which is enough money to buy two hunting hounds. This took him two years and  at that time he started hunting with his dogs Little Ann and Old Dan. I forgot to say that he is telling the story when he is over sixty years old. He has three younger sisters.
Old Dan had a tough attitude. He wasn't tall but he was heavy. His body was long and his muscles were big. He didn't want to hunt with any other hunter or with any other dog except  Little Ann. He also didn't want to hunt without Little Ann.
Little Ann was even smaller than Old Dan. She would make friends with anybody and loved playing. She was smart and understanding.
Since this book is about a boy and his dogs going hunting there's really no antagonist. Maybe the coons but I'm not sure if that counts. So far I like reading about their adventures. People tell me it's a sad book but I'm only on page 118 so I haven't gotten to the sad part yet.

Madison - Warriors: The Power of Three: Outcast

The main protagonists in this story are Brambleclaw, Squirrelflight, Hollypaw, Lionpaw, and Jaypaw. All of these cats (yes, cats!) have been in the last three books of the series.
Brambleclaw is the striped tabby deputy of ThunderClan. He is the sister of Tawneypelt, a cat in ShadowClan. He is the son of Tigerstar,  an evil cat who killed the other ThunderClan deputy, Redtail on his quest for power. Brambleclaw is a good, strong warrior, despite the deeds of his father before him. He is Squirrelflight's mate, and Hollypaw, Jaypaw, and Lionpaw's father.
Squirrelflight is an orange warrior of ThunderClan. She is the sister of Leafpool, the ThunderClan medicine cat. She is the daughter of Firestar, the leader of Thunderclan. She is a persistent, helpful cat who is always doing the best for her friends. She is Brambleclaw's mate and the mother of Hollypaw, Lionpaw, and Jaypaw.
Hollypaw is an apprentice in ThunderClan. She is one of the greatest hunters in the Clan. She is one of the Three that hold the power of the stars in their paws. She is persistent and loyal like her mother. She is the sister of Jaypaw and Lionpaw.
Lionpaw is an apprentice in ThunderClan. He is a fierce fighter and is very loyal to his clan. He was the the lover of Heatherpaw, a cat from WindClan, but it is against the warrior code to be the mate of a cat from another Clan. After months of meeting in secret, they must give up their love in order to be loyal to their clans. Lionpaw is meeting Tigerstar in his dreams, as his father Brambleclaw once did (Read Warriors: The New Prophecy: Sunset). He is the brother of Hollypaw and Jaypaw.
Jaypaw is the medicine cat apprentice of ThunderClan. He is blind, but his senses of smell and hearing are amazing. He talks with the ancient cats, becoming friends with the Stoneteller. Could he be the key to helping the Tribe of Rushing Water?

The main antagonists in this story are rouges who invade the Tribe of Rushing Water's mountain. A especially mean she-cat among them is called Flora. These cats have no rules, no order, and no kindness whatsoever. They come suddenly into the area where the Tribe lives, taking away all the prey and leaving the Tribe cats to starve. The Clans, who had been greatly helped by the Tribe on the Great Journey. Firestar sends all of the protagonists I mentioned above to help, along with one cat from every other Clan. They all begin the long journey back to the mountains... and I'm going to stop there, just in case you want to read the book someday.

Malaika- Good Enough by Paula Yoo

Good Enough by Paula Yoo

In my book the protagonist is Patti Yoon. Patti describes herself as ugly with a flat nose, broad face, thick eyeglasses and flat straight hair. Patti yoon is the daughter of two extremely strict Korean parents. She is really smart and takes all AP classes and also takes violin classes and was concertmaster 3 years in a row. Patti is shy, funny and just wants her parents to get of her back and to let her do what she wants instead of study all day long.

The antagonists in the story are Patti's parents because her parents are always making her "the perfect Korean daughter" but what she actually wants is to have time for friends, movies and concerts.
The other antagonist would be Stephanie. Stephanie is beautiful with dark blue eyes and a heart shaped face. Stephanie is a really popular girl at school. She hates Patti, she is really mean to her and makes fun of her all the time.

Endgame: The Calling by James Frey

In Endgame: The Calling there are twelve protagonists and antagonists:
Sarah Alopay
Jago Tlaloc
Aisling Kopp
Hilal ibn Isa al-Salt
Maccabee Adlai
Baitsakhan
An Liu
Shari Chopra
Marcus Loxias Megalos
Kala Mozami
Alice Ulapala

Chiyoko Takeda

Each of these people are Playing a cruel game played on humanity by The Gods. Each of these people are Playing for themselves. Kill or be killed. They are protagonists and antagonists at the same time.

My favorite protagonist/antagonist Chiyoko Takeda is from Japan. She has dark black, straight hair with a low fringe, ivory skin, long, black thick eyelashes and full, dark red lips. She looks like an average Japanese schoolgirl apart from her eyes. They are filled with confidence, fury, and something deadly. She is a feisty, confident, and skilled assassin. She is cannot speak or produce any sounds with her mouth. She is silent and deadly. Both her parents died when she was young, so she lives with her caring Uncle who loves her even with her disability. She has trained since she could walk, to fight, deceive, survive on limited resources, infiltrate, hide, and eventually become the tribe Mu's Player for Endgame.

The diary of Anne Frank

                                                     Diary of Anne Frank

In this story the main character is Anne Frank who is also the protagonist . She is an 11 year old Jewish girl who lived during the world war 2.She is a talented little girl who enjoys writing and reading. She also has an older sister called Margot. Her whole family is from the Netherlands. When the war started they had to go into hiding. The hiding place was under her fathers office. There she lived with the Van Dan family who were also Jewish and had to hide as well.
Anne was a funky little girl who liked to have fun , read and wright. That's why she started a diary in the first place.  She kept her diary for 2 years . She called her diary Kitty. But when her hiding place was discovered she was took to a camp for Jews where she died  from a sickness sometime in July so did her sister with the same sickness but because she was so weak she died after a fall from the bunk bed at her camp sickness . Nonetheless her father and mother survived.
Since she was small she wanted to become an author and write a famous book so when it was clear that she died the diary was found and passed to her father who then checked the mistakes, edited and published the diary. Even though the diary is really old but her story is read by children and adults all over the globe. In this case there wasn't really  an antagonist so I would ay the Nazis were the antagonists as they are the ones who started the war and forced Anne into hiding. They then discovered their hiding place and took all of the hiders to a preparation camp where they were sorted into many groups such as old and young boys, old and young girls, men , woman ,sick etc they were ten all sent to different camps. Luckily Anne Margot and their mother went to the same one. The Nazis were also responsible for millions of deaths. Not talking about racism which is the reason of the war as Hitler thought that only if you were either German or had blue eyes and blond hair then you had the right to live. Which is funny as he was not German  had brown eyes and blue skin so looking at the world the way he did would mean that he would need to be killed as well.

Seohyun-When you reach me by Rebecca Stead

When You Reach Me
By: Rebecca Stead
Image result for when you reach me

The main character in this book is called Miranda Sinclair. She is a sixth grade student living in New York City. Miranda is a only child of a single mother. Miranda struggles why her best friends no longer wants to be her friends with her, she begins to get a strange notes from someone that she doesn't know. Miranda ignores them, but she looks closer at these notes.
She loves the novel called A Wrinkle In Time. She brings this book to everywhere she goes. She also loves/likes her friend Sal and her mother. But she doesn't like her mother's clothes.

I am not really sure who the antagonist is.

Gilda Joyce The Ghost Sonata Nina

The protagonist in my book is Gilda Joyce. She is a teenage girl who loves mysteries. Gilda also has a interest in fashion. She is funny, smart, kind and brave. Even when she is scared she can have a positive attitude. Gilda has lot's of friends. Her best friend is Wendy Choy, Wendy loves playing piano. In this book Gilda has to solve a lot of puzzles.

I still don't know who the antagonist is but, i would say it's a ghost, or a spirit. Gilda and Wendy have seen it. Wendy had a dream were there where many empty rehearsal rooms. In one there was a boy who was playing piano, she realized that it was a ghost. When Gilda was asleep she heard noises, she opened her eyes and saw the same boy. So i'm guessing that the antagonist is a ghost.

Kiki- Gilda Joyce The ladies of the lake By: Jennifer Allison

The main character in this book is Gilda. She is a wonderful girl who likes investigating things. Gilda is a 13 year old girl whose mother suggests that she apples for a scholarship to our lady of sorrows and exclusive catholic girls school. Gilda has short yellowish brownish hair and a girl who likes solving mysteries. In that school Gilda hears that professor Dolores Lambert drowned on campus and may be haunting the grounds. Using her skills she found out more behind Dolores's death...

Lola - The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart

The Mysterious Benedict Society                                                  By: Trenton Lee Stewart

Who is the protagonist?

The protagonist is Reynie Muldoon. Reynie Muldoon is an orphan who is very smart, clever, intelligent and curios. He has blackish brownish hair and normally he would wear a sweater and light brown jeans and sneakers. He has freckles and very fair skin. He lives in a city called Stonetown, near a port called Stonetown Harbor. He is a very lonely kid who likes to read a lot. He is brave and a bit shy. He likes to help to help others. He is amazing at problem solving and he looks at things differently than other people usually do. oh He is unlike most kids at the orpahnage and anywhere because he likes being by himself and he does not like TV. He is to smart to be taught but the orphange professor so he has his own special teacher called Ms. Perumal. One day in the newspaper an ad comes saying ARE YOU A GIFTED CHILD LOOKING FOR SPECIAL OPPORTUNITIES? So the adventure begins there...

Take a guess at the antagonist. What do you think they're like?

I think that the antagonist is Mr. Curtain because he did create the school for the very enlightened and he does create the messengers. I think that Mr. Curtain wants to achieve something very evil and so he needs children. I also think that Mr. Curtain is the total opposite of Mr. Benedict even though they are brothers. Mr. Curtain is mean, selfish, evil, cruel and many other things.

Petar :Young Bond Double or Die

The Protagonist in my book is called James bond. This Boy is no ordinary boy that you would see this boy is very exceptional because of his manly characteristics. James gets more clever and nimble throughout the whole story in other words evolves into a real man. James is about sixteen years old and goes to a college in London. Throughout the book you can see how he got all of these traits that he has in the movies like agility speed and ability to play poker very well. Bond starts his adventure when one of the professors and and founder of the crossword puzzle group in witch James was a part of went missing and leaves clues for them and at the end of the book James manages to find him and save him from the main villain in the story. I wouldn't consider Bond a bad guy since he killed two brothers Ludwig and Wolfgang because they killed his friend and tried to kill James himself several times-and James manages to kill them using self defense at first but later on starts being brave and becoming the predator because of his frustration and anger against them because they murdered his friend and one of the professors. In conclusion James is a very smart sedulous person who can be very commited to something that he does in this book the case is saving his teacher which takes a lot of risks includin stealing a bentley shooting with a gun and being drugged up and thrown in the river.

Milos: Cirque Du Freak by Darren Shan

The main character of this book is Darren. He is talking in first person. He is 12 years old and has three best friends. He gets scarred a lot. One day he decided to go to a freak show with his friends. The freak show was about a lot of freaks coming out on the stage and showing what they can do. This show is illegal and settled before thousands of years. It takes place in 10 clock in the night. The boys were discussing about the tickets because only two of them can go. Darren and Steve went. They were so exited they could not sleep. Darren went to Steve's house for a sleep over and while Steve's parents aren't there they are going to take the chance of going to the freak show. If there mom and dad new about this they would ground him. The time passed and Darren went to Steve's house. They were getting ready for the freak show. They had a long time to walk to the freak show because it was on the other side of the town. When they got there the show finally begun. There were a lot of freaks coming out and in showing their powers. Even one woman left without a hand that was bitten of by the werewolf. Good luck going there!

Nini: "Middle School The Worst Years Of My Life" By James Patterson and Chris Tebetts

Who is the Protagonist? Describe the personality and physical features:

The main character of my book " Middle School The Worst Years Of My Life" is Rafe. His full name is Rafe Khatchadorian.  He has a mother named Jules and a sister, Georgia. He dislikes middle school  and they are the worst year of his life. Rafe goes to H.V.M.S, Hills Village Middle School. Its really hard for him to find people he can trust so mostly he doesn't trust anyone except for his mom most of the time. He calls his school prison, that's how much he hates middle school. He actually does trusts another person and that is Leonardo the Silent, his best friend in school and anywhere else. The book does not say how does Rafe looks like but there are few illustrations of him. As I said, Leo was his only friend, Leo did not like talking. Everything that Leo would like to say, he would draw. Even if your house was on fire, he would still draw it for you. Rafe at a BIG IDEA to break every rule in the book H.V.M.S Code of Conduct. The book of all the rules is his worst enemy. He is planning to pull the Fire Alarm and now he is thinking about if he should do this or not.

I am not sure who the antagonist will be so far but I think there will be one person that is against things.

WHITE DOLPHIN    WHO IS THE PROTAGONIST? DESCRIBE THE PERSONALITY AND PHYSICAL FEATURES.
GILL LEWIS
Kara, the main protagonist is a dyslexic grade 6 student. She has been bullied at school by a ghastly boy named Jake. Kara has been having a hard time ever since her mother disappeared. Her father has had some financial problems because he started suffering from depression; this has also affected her.
Kara is quite a feisty 11 year-old. She threw a book at the bully’s face. Kara is a fighter, she doesn’t give up that easily. She is determined to find her mother.
This novel is written in first person and in  present tense. That is why it is impossible to find descriptions of the main character.
In my opinion, I think she is a towering, strong girl who has blonde, scraggly hair and a pony-tail.

Ronia: A Single Shard

Who is the Protagonist? Describe the personality and physical features:

The main character of the book: "A Single Shard" is a boy named Tree Ear.  He is named after the mushrooms growing on and around trees. Tree Ear is an orphan that lives with a man with only one leg who he calls Crane Man. Tree Ear is like the student of Crane Man, and always tries to follow and understand the wise words the old man gives him. This book does not say what the boy looks like, but it does mention that he admires hand crafted pots and ceramic arts.

Miles: Star Wars Jedi Academy By Jeffrey Brown

The main character, or protagonist is Roan. Roan is a boy who is a great comic artist. In school he is having a hard time with using the Force. Roan has two brothers named Oliver, the younger brother, and, his older brother, Davin. Roan lives on Tatooine. Roan is smart and brave. I would like to have Roan as a friend.

The antagonists are Cronah and Cyrus. They are bulling Roan because Roan is new to the Jedi Academy. Cronah looks like a pig with spikes on his head. Cyrus has black lines all over his head and face and he also has spikes on his head.

Lovisa The Butterfly Club by Jacqueline Wilson.

Who is the Protagonist? Describe the personality and physical features.

The main character in my book is Tina. Tina is a wonderful girl. She has a lot of faith in herself and her family. She is a shy and funny person that likes jokes and being with animals. Tina is a short person and has blue eyes, short blond hair. She loves to draw, especially animals. her clothing is very similar to her twin sisters, Madeleine and Philippa. Because of her height she is being bullied at school. The antagonist in this story is Kayhleigh and Selma, they are very mean to people. Selma is tall blond. Kayhleigh is also tall and has brown hair, she is know as the teachers favorite student. She calls people ugly names. The setting is mainly in the junior school and in the 3 grade classroom. The classroom is very big and joyful for the students in the the class. The school has a big playground, and there is space for a lot of gardening and fun. The conflict in this story is that Tina, Kayleigh and Selma are not coming along so well. I think that they will solve this conflict by learning that freinds may not be that bad even if you think they are and they will become very good friends.

Christoffer Hero On A Bicycle By Shirley Hugher

Who is the protagonist? Describe the personality and the physical features.

The main character in my book is Paolo. Paolo is a boy. He is very brave and noble. He has a mother named Rosemary and a sister named Constanza. He wants to join the Partisans. He is a very brave person because he is willing to fight for his country's freedom by entering the Partisans. The Partisans are people who are helping the Jews and other people to escape from the German Concentration Camps. They risk there life's for others. That is what Paolo wants to do. He tries to join the Partisans, but they won't let him join they say he is to young, even though he is 13 and is very tall for his age. He is a trustworthy person. He is also the person you would want as a friend since he is caring, helpful, peaceful, calm, responsible and many other characteristics. He is helpful right now in the story by having some of the people who have fled the concentration camps. They will now be staying in Paolo's house. I think the antagonist in this story is the Allies. The Allies are the countries fighting against Hitler. The setting is in Italy and the Italians were with Hitler. The Allies are very strong, hardworking, good at cooperating and helping others. One of their advantages is that they are good at helping different country's with different needs.
