In this novel there is no antagonist like a person. There is just like his self and surroundings. Because when he want's to achieve something everybody else trie to stop him by starting at him. When someone stare at him he get scared and he would be shy. That's why he always come late to school so nobody stare at him in the hall. Also there are few kids in high school (jocks) that would punch him and fight him and then through him in can and then roll him in girls toilet, or they would through him into the locker and lock him.

The book i am reeding is Call it Courage. I really ike this book meaning that it is cool and nice to read. Manly i like adventure books like this one. This book is award winning of the most distinguished contribution to American literature for kids. I recommend reading it!

This book is about a boy who lost his mom on a boat that was sinking. His dad is a chief. I think this book is going to have a lot of adventure in it because it already tells me about some interesting parts that I can predict what is going to happen. The boys name is Mafatu and he is 14 years old. He is afraid of the water since his mom died. Mafatu is a brave boy and smart. He studies all the time. Also he has two pets: One is the albatross and the other one is his dog. His dogs name is Uri. Mafatu doesn't know what to do if he had lost his pets. Uri and the albatross always stick with Mafatu and he has them since he was young.

WORDS I DONT KNOW:
The reading level of this book is a good level for me meaning that it is for grade 6 and i rely like the words used. The first word I found interesting is destruction. I find this word interesting because it reminds me of destroying things and a song that goes like that. The second word i didn't know was muttered. This word means not talking clearly or not speaking clearly. It also means not giving directions that clear.

The boy who owned the school Gary Poulsen

I am reading the book called Th  boy who owned the school. The climax in this story is when the min character Jacob on the play turn on the fog machine. That was his job to do underneath the stage to turn it on. There was a tunnel where the actors should fall through when he turned  it on. So he turned it on and he let the door open. There was too much of fog in school everybody was shouting and screaming. The third graders that were in play were really scare and thy were crying. A whole school was in fog. When the girls Maria falls through the tunnel she lands in the room where the fog machine is so she couldn't breath of the fog. She was screaming so someone hears her and help her. When Jacob saw that the whole school was in fog because of him he decided to try to save school. She heard  Maria and he scrawl down to fog machine to try turning it off. When he turned it off he saved the school and Maria told him that he is a winner and that he is a boy who owned the school. After that Maria asked him to go on date with her. He was really confused that she asked him, h thought he day dream. Because Maria was the prettiest girl in the school. Everybody was happy that he saved the school even .Mrs. Hilsak. His teacher was happy that he saved the school. I think this is the climax because that's like the most interesting part in the novel and before that it was riseing the action like rehearsals before the play and then this happen so it's the main part.

My Side of The Mountain - Miles

My Side of The Mountain

Jean Craighead George

I have not reached the climax yet in this book. I can see that it is coming because of many interesting parts of the story so far. One interesting thing is that Sam finds and trains Frightful, a Duck Falcon. Sam needs to train Frightful to catch and gather food. Another interesting thing is how Sam gets food. For example, he traps all types of animals like deer and rabbits. Sam is doing this because he wants to stay in his tree for winter and must prepare. I can also see that Sam is getting lonely because of his behavior towards people. Sam has met five people but Sam has also avoided people he thinks might turn him in too. I think the climax will be when he decides to leave or stay because Sam is lonely or because he runs out of food.

Climax:
The climax of this story is when Russel kills a polar bear with a spear and returns to Nancy, who is almost dead. Soon after she gives birth to a baby that dies. Nancy is in very bad condition after losing the baby, but Russel manages to keep her alive. He drives the dogs hard to get Nancy to a village where she can get help. They go north and see the villages ahead, while Russel sings a song about his life.

Milkweed Nina

The climax in my story is when a train come and took all the Jews somewhere. Misha (the main character) already new that the train would come so he ran out of the ghetto with Janina (his sister). They decided to go back to their father but when they went back in he wasn't there. When they tried to sneak out the guards saw them and they started pushing them on to the train. Misha managed to get out of the train but Janina couldn't get out. Misha tried running after the train but he couldn't do it. When he found out that the war was over he went to America and started a new life.

Xenocide climax (Albert)

The climax of my book xenocide is when one of the main protagonists (Quim) is murdered by an angry tribe of natives who believe that they have been chosen by God to cleanse the universe of all human life.
This causes massive outrage among the people of Lusitania  who start a massive riot that overwhelms the tiny police force. The angry villagers chose to attack and burn down the home of a piggy that they have lived with in peace for many years in order to avenge Quims death.
Many people are killed on both sides and when the rage calms the villagers realise what they have done as they watch the forest of their former friends burn to the groun and understand what terrible crime they have committed.
After the massacre Enders wife Novhina leaves Ender and blames him for the death of their son. This act breaks Ender and he chooses to seek out his youngest and most favoured son Olhado for help. He calms Ender down and he realises that he needs to help rebuild what his community destroyed even though it wasn't his doing.
After this the action calms as more and more problems are solved and the piggies rebuild their community.

Climax of Surviving the Applewhites Ben

The climax of surviving the applewhites is about a boy named Jake the protagonist of the story since he is the one with the goal. The climax starts when Jake tells everybody that he wants to go back to the island in which he lived before since everything that is where he is now is very different to what his characteristics are and since where he lived in the island was were he had friends that were just like him.I think this is he climax since it takes around 40 pages for Jake to start doing his pan but it does rise the intensity of the story and becomes more of interesting for people to read.

Climax
The book that I am reading for my book report is called “Holes” by Louis Sachar. This book won the John Newbery Medal.
The climax of this book is when the boys in Camp Green Lake get into a fight because of Zero, one of the boys in Camp Green Lake. It all started when Zero and Stanley  made a deal that Stanley would teach Zero how to read and write but Zero to dig part of Stanley’s hole each and every day so Stanley would have energy left to teach Zero to read and write. It was going well every time with this deal until the other boys in Camp Green Lake had realized that Zero was digging Stanley’s hole. The other boys which we Zigzag, X-ray, Armpit and Squid complained to Mr.Pendanski, one of the counselors about Zero digging Stanley instead of Stanley digging his own hole for the day. The boys got into a fight because no one (even the Warden, the owner) believed that Zero had learnt anything from the days Stanley was teaching him.

After the fight, Zero hit Mr.Pendaski with a shovel and ran away from Camp Green Lake that night. When the Warden found out that Zero has run away from the camp, she told all the counselors to delete all of Zero’s files and forget that Zero was ever at Camp Green Lake. Zero running away from Camp Green Lake can be jeopardizing. He was just a young boy, he couldn’t have found water anywhere, no shelter anywhere, so how is going to stay alive, Stanley was very worried about Zero which led to Stanley also running away from Camp Green Lake. While he was running away, he was very tired; he had no water in his canteen. It was the hottest part of the day when he ran away so that made it even harder to find Zero. Stanley did not know where to go or whether he should continue or not. While he was walking, he spotted a boat which he found Zero in. He was very happy to find Zero because he thought that Zero would be dead by the time he finds him. Zero survived by drinking a type of liquid that he found under the boat in plenty of jars. Zero called it sploosh. Zero’s body was very sick which made his stomach hurt. He would fall on the ground, clutching his stomach. That made Stanley very worried.

Zero didn’t want to go back to Camp Green Lake, so Zero and Stanley went to the “Big Thumb” which was pretty far away. It was a long journey to The Big Thumb. The Big Thumb is a very big rock where Stanley and Zero think that they would find water, food, and refuge. On the way, they had to climb mountains and walk very long which made it very hard for Zero because he was so sick. They fed themselves by digging into holes for water and eating plenty of onions they found on their way.

Doll Bones (climax) -KIKI

Doll Bones

Climax
The climax begins when Poppy and Alice come to Zach's house in the middle of the night. There adventure begins. The three of them have to go from East Rochester to East Liverpool to berry Eleanor the doll. In the bus they meet a annoying and crazy guy named Tinshoe Jones. They run of the bus and continue their journey by walking...

Anything but typical

The climax of my story is when Jason is going to the storyboard convention in Dallas, Texas. His parents told him he is allowed to go but he has to make a really hard decision. If he goes to the convention, he will meet his internet friend Rebecca. She is Jason's only real friend, but Jason did not tell her he's autistic. If she will find out, Jason is scared she will treat him just like everyone else at school. On the other hand, it is a really big opportunity for Jason. Jason will have to make the biggest decision he has ever made. This is the most exciting part in the book which will make you want to read more and more. Jason's decision will help prove if Rebecca is a true friend.

Ella Enchanted - Lola Dunton - Milenkovic

                                     Ella Enchanted

                                 By: Gail Carson Levine

My book is called Ella Enchanted. This book was written by Gail Carson Levine and has won a Newbery Honor Award.

There are a lot of exciting parts in this book. But one of my most exciting parts was near the end. Char received Ella's fake letter that she got married to a rich guy and lives with him. In the letter it describes Ella as a very mean person saying that " Ella laughs with all of her money ". Char was furious saying that he doesn't even miss Ella and that she was a nobody to him. A couple of weeks later, Char returned from his school and his father threw 3 balls as a welcome back to Char and so that Char can find himself a bride. It was kind of like a ball were you had to wear masks and when Ella heard this she had to go. She called Lucinda ( who realized all of her mistakes and became good ) and Lucinda gave her some jewelry and a tiara. Ella used her mother's gowns and a mask that she wore to her father's wedding. Lucinda gave Ella a ride, footman and coach. But ( just like Cinderella ) the spell only lasts till midnight. Ella went to the ball all 3 days just looking at Char and each day she wore something new. On the last day, Mandy gave her some jewelry and a tiara. On the 1st day of the ball, Char invited Ella to dance. Ella said her name was Lela so that Char couldn't recognize her. Ella wanted to charm Char and she did. The last day, Char took Ella outside. Hattie came and she took of Ella's mask, reveling her to be Ella. Ella ran away leaving one shoe behind. The next day, Char came to Ella's house, saying that he wanted Ella to try the shoe. It fit and Char asked Ella to marry him. Ella desperately wanted to and said yes. Then started crying. To save Char she couldn't marry him. She screamed no and she went outside and screamed NO!!!!! Even louder. Revealing her curse in the process, she suddenly got rid of it. Ella was free to do whatever she wanted. She married Char and became a queen. The End!

Climax:
The climax of my book is when Madison (main character) figures out that the objects floating with her are objects she lost when she was alive. By touching the object, she can return to the moment and relive the events. Madison obsessively touches these objects, travelling back to relive these lost moments of life and discover how she died. This part is interesting because this part shows how Madison died. Madison keeps on trying to find out how she died but she keeps on failing.

The Curious Incident of The Dog In The Night time
Mark Haddon
Christopher Boone finds himself in a difficult position. After the discovery of the letters, his father reveals the truth about his mother. She is alive and living in London.   Christopher has to decide whether he should leave without the supervision of his father or stay with his ‘murderous’ parent. This is an unimaginably preposterous choice to make. He has never left the house on his own. He is loath to do so, but this is his only option to ‘survive’. His curiosity and love for his mother beats his fear. He uses his mathematical skills to navigate through Swindon (the place where he lives) to find the train station. Christopher walks down the stairs towards the platform and is yet to see what lies upon him. Thousands of people pass him in a rush. For him this is a catastrophe. The bodies barging into him send him into a frenzy. He threatens everyone with his knife. In fact, at that moment he is screaming at the top of his lungs, in frustration figuring out what to do. He sits next to a coffee bar trying to calm down, using his math problems. Noise, the screeching of the rails, people, physical contact, Could he go on? Will he ever see his mother in London?

This was the most exhilarating scene. You can feel Christopher slowly disintegrating and not being able to think or breathe.

Out of my Mind- Sharon M. Draper- Ronia

Out of My Mind by Sharon DraperI am reading the book "Out of my mind." The climax, or most exiting part of my novel must be the part where Melody passes the exam for going into the big trivia competition. Everybody is surprised by the news, even Melody herself. This was a happy surprise. Sadly, there is also an unpleasant surprise. When Melody entered the trivia team, she helped her team win which gained them a trip to Washington DC for the national competition. Sadly, the plane was cancelled due to weather conditions, and Melody did not go. Her team went on an early flight and Melody was left behind.
                                                  The Wednesday wars

                                                            The climax

                                             Image result for midwinterblood book

The climax of the story is the fact that Eric and David find out that they had the same daughter called Merle. But in the next chapter they meet an artist that paints outside and he was working on a picture for over one year. The name of the painting is called Midwinter blood  it illustrated a kin and a girl next to him  it is called just like the title of the book but then Eric and David realise that the girl was....
MERLE they are bffled and are trying to figure out what is going on

When Zachary Beaver Came to Town -Climax -Malaika

The climax in When Zachary Beaver Came to Town is The lake scene between Cal and Toby.
What happens then is Cal and Toby are in a fight because of Toby. So one day Toby sees Cal as he is biking around the area, Toby decides to bike up to him so they can talk it out but Cal starts biking as faraway as possible and Toby starts to chase him and then Cal bikes into the lake. Toby automatically jumps in to help him.
I know this is the climax because this is the most intense and exciting part of the book and this is the part which changes both of them forever and which gives them a big idea, which is very important in the story.

Conflict Call of the Wild

The main conflict of the story is when buck has a fight with Spitz(another dog who was soled) and wins but hardly. This is the main conflict because it is the most jaw dropping and crucial moment of the story. The fight is well described and the narrations make it even more interesting. At the end of this close fight Buck wins and his strength and loyalty to the other dogs makes him the pack leader. The climax of the story is when Buck gets stolen and soled. This is in my opinion because This is the part of the story where the whole adventure starts and story changes. Without this event the story would not be interesting and exited. This is one of the reasons why I like this story because the adventure starts at the begining of the story. One word I thought was peculiar was Pandiculation. Pandiculation is a word with a simple meaning but a hard pronunciation. The meaning of this word is when you do something over and over again this was used when the narration said home buck loved to kill animals at the end of the story and he did this over and over again.
The protagonist in the story Call of the Wild is buck. Buck is a half ST.Bernard dog and half sheep dog. He was stolen at the begining of the story by his owners gardener and was sent to Yukon a colder are of Canada. This was a dramatic change for him because he lived in California a place with hot weather and then was sent and soled to Yukon. He was soled by the gardener because the gardener had to pay bills that he owed. Buck needed time to adapt the cold weather of Yukon but this made him stronger. He gets this instinct that he calls "Call of the Wild" This makes him almost run away from his final owner(John Thornton) but buck realizes he can not leave his caring owner. His last owner John Thornton rescued buck from his awful owners and adopted him. Although this was a huge favor from Johns side Buck did lots of things that helped John and made him lucky. Some of these things were earning money by John betting on him and helping John find a gold mine. Unfortunately Bucks well caring and loving owner dies at the end of the story because an Alaskan time shot him with arrows. By the time buck came to save him he was already dead and Buck knew this. Buck then returns to the wild and becomes another leader of another pack but this tiem not dogs, but wolves.

Setting:Call of the wild

The setting of the story call of the wild starts in California and ends in a colder area of Canada called Yukon. The time period is 1890s and this is discovered when Buck(The protagonist) travels to Yukon in a train. You can also see this since the description of a mans car was very different then now days. What I mean by It starts in California and ends in Yukon is that Buck, gets kidnapped by his owners gardener and gets soled to two french Men who live in Yukon. From that point on bucks adventure is based in Yukon but not with the same owners. At first buck is not used to the cold weather but then after a couple of weeks his skin adapts the cold weather and he totally gets used to it. The life buck had at the begining of the book was not so interesting as the life he has in Yukon, He used to just lay around on the sun and eat a lot while here in Yukon he has to fight for his food, adapt the cld weather and suffer the beatings from several of his owners. All of these problems that he has in Yukon make him stronger and more dangerous. His strength and wisdom helped him become the pack leader but also the most dangerous but friendly dog in the pack.

Call of the Wild

The book I am reading and chose for my book report is called Call of the wild. This book has won the Newbery award and was written by Jack London in 1903. I chose to read this marvelous book since I love animals and I thought the message of the book was strong and introduced well throughout the story. The stories setting is in California and then later on moves to Yukon a colder area in Canada. The protagonist in this story is Buck and the antagonist is any of his owners that change through the story since he gets soled from person to person. The protagonist Buck is a dog who is first living a great life and then gets out of luck when stolen and soled to another owner. I really like this book because it is full of adventure has a strong message and it hooks the reader. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes animals and adventure.

                                   Jacob have I loved

                                                           By: Katherine Paterson

The climax of my book is when Caroline was pregnant with two  twins. One twin was healthy and the other one wasn't really healthy. Its the same like for her and Louise. Louise was healthy but Caroline wasn't, so it was tough with Caroline. I think Caroline's unhealthy twin will be more noticeable then the healthy twin. I think  it will be  like it was for  Caroline and her sister. I know that this is the climax because in the book it said that it was hard for the other twin to be healthy like it was for her. I think this is the climax because its at the end of the book and it made the book more interesting at the end, so I think this climax is reasonable.
