Surviving the AppleWhites Blog post Ben

The book that I am currently reading about is called "Surviving the Applewhites" by Stephanie S. Tolan. This book has won the Newbery Honor Award. The setting of this story is in north Carolina and the Traybride middle school. Surviving the Applewhites is about a girl named E.D AppleWhite who is getting bullied by kids in his school because of his name. One of the bullies Jake was smoking a cigarette and blowing the smoke at the girl who was insisting Jake to stop. Jake was thinking while smoking about his early childness and how he became a person that hi is now, Jake also was thinking about how he could steal some tobacco from the tobacco fields and make himself a roll of tobacco to smoke.

Ought:
Used to explain appropriateness or kindness. I m impressed with your ought during this class and hope that this continues for the days to follow.

Galloped:
A rapid rate/fast speed of running. The new boy from New Jersey was galloping at an athlete pace.
As fast as it had galloped, it had left it's odor very clearly in the air.
