The novel i am reading is a comedy of a love. The setting of this story is at school most of the time but also at home. The first unknown word is jock. The jock means the person that are obsessed with their popularity and they mind with who they hangout like with cool kids and other people they joke and make fun of them. The jocks  are usually rude,stupid ,arrogant,beats up people, dates only cheerleaders and hangs around with other jocks.And the other unknown word from my towel is tattered.Tattered means old and torn, in bad condition. For my first word jocks the original sentence was "Even then there were two rows of lockers and that's where the jocks usually took lockers for them selves, and that was the worst of all if the jocks noticed you." And the original sentence for my second unknown word is "Jacob Freisten thought looking at the old map  of Europe hanging like a tattered shade."
