Ella Enchanted - Lola Dunton - Milenkovic

                                                                Ella Enchanted

My book is called Ella Enchanted. This book was written by Gail Carson Levine. This book is about a young and beautiful girl called Eleanor but everybody calls her Ella. Ella lives in a magical town called Frell which is full of fairies, elves and magical creatures that people know about but don't see. When Ella was a baby, a curse was put on her by a silly fairy called Lucinda. This curse is probably one of the worst curses ever. Ella had to obey every single order she got. If you told her " please go make your bed " she could ignore because you asked her. If you would say " go make your bed " she had to listen. She could not stop herself. But making her bed was not one of the worst curses she could have got. If you told her to hop one 1 foot for a day, she would have to. Or if you told her to cut off her own head she would have to do that as well. Ella was in danger at every moment. At the age of 15, Ella's mother whose name was also Eleanor ( but people called her Lady ) died. Ella was left with her so called servant ( also one of her very good friends ) Mandy and her father who hated her and she hated him. Ella's father was a merchant so he was never at home. He did come back for the burial of Ella's mom. After the burial, Ella's father threw a funeral party. He introduced Ella to a lady called Dame Olga and her 2 daughters Olive and Hattie. During the funeral party, Ella noticed something strange about the rug in the kitchen. When the funeral party finished and everyone left, Ella got curios. Ella asked Mandy and Mandy told her that Lady Eleanor ( Ella's mom ) got it from a fairy. Ella asked what fairy. Mandy explained that Ella's whole family, including Ella, had a godmother. Ella got even more curios and Mandy had to admit it. Mandy was a fairy godmother.
