Which phone in class has the most bacteria

While doing this project we taught if we messured the amount of bacteria on phones tht Mia's phone would be the dirtiest, b ut it turned out that Ms. Orosze's phone has the modt bacteria.

These are some materials we used:

  • Q-tips
  • tape
  • sharpie
  • labels
  • petri plates
  • phones
  • Agar
Our independent variable is: Changinng phones.
Our dependent variable is: The amount of bacteria on our phones.

This is what we did:

  1. First we colected 4 different phones from some students
  2. We then took our Q-tip and swiped it three times on the phone screen.
  3. Then we swiped our Q-tip on to the petri plate three times.
  4. We labed our petri plates.
  5. Then we set them to sit for nexr ten days so bacteria can grow.
  6. After ten days we took pictures of them
While doing this science projhect i learned that bacteria can spread really fast, and also i learned that phones can be really dirty. We taught that Mia's phone is dirtiest because it is the oldest and we taught the most used one.
