The climax in When Zachary Beaver Came to Town is The lake scene between Cal and Toby.
What happens then is Cal and Toby are in a fight because of Toby. So one day Toby sees Cal as he is biking around the area, Toby decides to bike up to him so they can talk it out but Cal starts biking as faraway as possible and Toby starts to chase him and then Cal bikes into the lake. Toby automatically jumps in to help him.
I know this is the climax because this is the most intense and exciting part of the book and this is the part which changes both of them forever and which gives them a big idea, which is very important in the story.
Dear Malaika,
ReplyDeleteIt's a great blog post! It has the climax and how it is important to the story. The only thing that maybe you can add is a picture of the book. Overall, good job!
