Star Wars
I am reading the section about Star Wars in the book called Guinness World Records 2016. The section is about the movies and merchandise. Some interesting things that I read was that George Lucas is worth 5 billion USD after selling Lucasfilm (LTD)to Disney, The first video game based on The Empire Strikes Back, the fifth episode, was released in 1982. This game was for the Atari 2600, a gaming system. The first game light saber dueling was also for the Atari 2600. I also read about the largest Star Wars sculpture. This is a brigade of characters which is 15 meters tall and 23 meters wide. This was made of snow. The things that were built in the snow were Darth Vader, three Stormtroopers, a TIE fighter and the Death Star. The last section I read was about the most successful action-figures sold in the first 30 years. Star Wars had accounted for over 9 billion USD. It was the beast selling boys toy in USA between 2007 and 2010. The sales were 510 million dollars in 2010 alone.
