Holes

Holes

Louis Sachar

The novel that I am reading is called "HOLES" by Louis Sachar who won a Newbery Award.
The setting of this book is in Camp Green Lake. It was weird because there were no lake/s at Camp Green Lake. There was once a very big lake which was the largest lake in Texas but it was over hundreds of years ago but now its just a dry, flat land. There used to be a town of Green Late but the town and people in the town shriveled and dried up with the lake. Camp Green Lake is a place for bad boys. If you take a bad boy to dig holes everyday in the hot sun, he will become a good boy.
