DOLL BONES
The novel that I am reading is called Doll Bones, written by Holly Black. Doll bones won the John Newbery Medal Award.
Poppy, Alice and Zachary (Zach) are best friends and even though they are in middle school they still love their dolls and action figures. Every day after school the three of them meet in Poppy's house and play with their toys and make new adventures. Until one day Zach finds out that his action figures are missing. Zach couldn't find the right way to tell Poppy and Alice that his action figures are gone so he decided to not play with them anymore...
portmanteau- A large traveling bag made out of leather that opens in to two equal parts.
I liked that you wrote what happened to the characters but I you missed the setting and another word. I think that you should add a bit more information about why they still likes dolls and etc.
