Bonus blog Gustav Klimt

This week I was reading short books about different artists. The last one I have read is Klimt and His Cat written by Berenice Capatti 35 pages.
The book is about Austrian painter Gustav Klimt. His cat called Katze is giving readers a tour about painter’s life. He mentions important information about Gustav Klimt u and the ways he made wonderful art peaces. The cat explains his daily life and what he does during vacations. On a usual day of work Gustav would invite models to his studio and sketched them. He made lot of scratches and to be a great artist like him you have to use lot of paper. Making scratches took a lot of time while models had to stand still, without lot of movement. He liked to paint people a lot. The artist used lot of gold and other vibrant colors on his paintings.  Even background of his paintings was full of colors full of amazing shapes and figures. During vacations Gustav painted landscapes adding people’s faces to it. He was founder of Vienna Secessionists movement. Those were the artists that did not like to see the same way of producing art over and over again.
Gustav Klimt was born in 1862 and died in 1918. The book also shows some of his paintings.
Vie - compete eagerly with someone in order to do or achieve something.
Players from both teams were vying to score a goal.
Meticulously – showing extreme care about details.
