Hammer Of Thor

The book I am reading is ''Hammer of Thor''  It happens in a place called Asgard and the Icy land. One day Thor was sleeping and he used his hammer as a pillow when he woke up his hammer disappeared he thought Loki did it but he didn't  Loki actually told him where the hammer was Loki said it is in icy land. Thor had to dress like Freya because the giants like Freya so when they went the icy land they went to the giants castle and the giant wanted to marry Thor witch was dressed like Freya. When the time was to give Thor the ring he saw his eyes and immediately new it was Freya. At the end of the book Thor got his hammer back and went to Asgard.

English HW

The book I am reading,"The Edge Chronicles #1" happens in a place called The Edge. It is about a boy named Twig who was raised by woodtrolls. Now he is ten, and his woodtroll-mother sent him away to her cousin in the big city. She thought it was best because she was afraid that the sky-pirates would take him because he is not ordinary - he was tall and pale-skinned, like most humans and not like the small, chubby woodtrolls. But on his way there he encounters big creatures and weird peoples.

Stranded

I am reading a book called "Stranded" by Ben Mikaelsen and I am on the 47th page out of 247 pages. In just these 47 pages that I have read I fell in love with this book. This story is about a 13 year old girl named Koby Easton and her love with the sea. That is shown when she was swimming and saved the life of a whale and the whales baby.

Koby is at times sad because for one, she only has one leg and two, her parents are always fighting. This book is written so well that I felt when reading it, that I was there when the story was happening, and also felt the emotion when something crucial was happening.  This book is really inspirational and I am looking forward finishing this amazing book.

Pretty Little Secrets

The book that I am reading is called Pretty Little Secrets and the
author of the book is Sara Shepard. This is one of the biggest
books int the series. The book has 432 pages. There is a total of 14 books in the Pretty Little Liars series. The book takes place in the present day in Rosewood, Florida. The mood of the book is Mystery, Thriller and Love. All of these are mixed up since the book is about a girl, Allison DiLaurentis being murdered and about this mysterious "A" person threatening her best friends (Emily Fields, Aria Montgomery, Spencer Hastings
and Hanna Marin) with different text messages. They caught the
person who murdered the girl and now for three years Alison's best friends Emily Fields, Aria Montgomery, Spencer Hastings and Hanna Marin have not been getting messages from "A." What
they don't know is that another "A" is in town and that he is going to make their lives a living nightmare.

From the beginning of the book, I liked it. The climax in my opinion  was when Nick was shot in the air in a plane from a ride at the park and also the fact that he controlled it.

The book I am reading is called Time Pirates. Its about this boy named Nick McIver, and his dream is to be a pilot when he grows up. He lives on an island called Grey Beard Island. On another island, where Nick's family lives, is a lighthouse. The year in the book is 1940 when the Nazis attacked.

Love, Stargirl by Jerry Spin






I am reading a book name Love, StarGirl by Jerry Spinelli. The setting is in Pennsylvania. The climax is at Stargirl trying to make a boy name Leo to like her.  The mood in this book is very happy,sad and silly. The time is the January 1 to January 2 next year. 

CHOMP!

I just finished a book called "Chomp" by Carl Hiaasen. This book has 290 pages of excellence. Carl has written 4 books (there are more adult books too) , Hoot, Flush, Scat, and of course Chomp (none of them are in a series but they are all excellent books). Chomp starts out in Florida near the everglades in a house where Mickey Cray, Mrs Cray and Wahoo Cray live.  Since they are nearly broke Mrs Cray had to go to all the way to China to teach Chinese to ambassadors.  Mickey is a professional animal wrangler with his son as a personal helper  (sort of like a zoo keeper) who loves animals and will do anything to protect them. One day a Derek Badger (a "real" survivor) is loking for animal wranglers. He wants to make a everglades scene for his viewers. Then when he gets beat up by the worlds laziest alligator he gets a crazy idea that Mickey Cray does not like....
