This week I read about a 12 year old boy from New York, that has been kicked out of 6 boarding schools in 6 years. Percy Jackson has many strange things going on for him. First his teacher turns into a monster, tries to kill him, then dissolves. Then his friend is acting like he is about to get murdered. And then, his mom and his best friend are taking him to a summer camp that sounds freakishly suspicious. Next thing you know, his mother is murdered and he has to save his best friend which is apparently half goat from a Minotaur. After that he woke up in camp half-blood. In camp half-blood huge secrets are revealed, like his Latin teacher is Chiron, Greek gods exist, and that he is half god (but he is undetermined which means that they don't know who his immortal parent is). Read 6 chapters, stopped at page 93.
