In my book, there are a many conflicts and problems. The first one is Erin, January, and Mouse has to escape from the orphanage. And they did, they said they were going to come back and the three of them escaped with a raft in the river. The second conflict is when they were stuck in the Black Middens, a very muddy river. But then, a girl named Heaven Eyes rescued them. Heaven Eyes wanted them to stay with her and her "grampa" because it was dangerous in the Black Middens. But the problem is, January didn't really want to stay because he thought that grampa was a murderer and an evil person and that was because he saw the look on grampa's face that grampa didn't really trust them to stay with Heaven Eyes. January also didn't like it because they escaped the orphanage for freedom. The problem with grampa is that he is VERY protective of Heaven Eyes and will do ANYTHING for her to find her long lost family. Erin asked Heaven Eyes questions about her and they found out that Heaven Eye's real name was "Anna." They all wanted to know more about Heaven Eyes. One day, January found a secret box from grampa's shelf and the box were full of Heaven Eye's memories. There were pictures and a newspaper, saying a family was lost at the beach. Heaven Eyes was the only person from the family that has been found. Grampa was the one who found her. Grampa told Heaven Eyes that the pictures were found in her pocket, muddy since she was washed up by the Black Middens. Later, grampa died. They all decided to go back to the orphanage and they brought Heaven Eye's treasures. They were all happy and they told the fun adventure that they had to other kids.
