The theme of Nation is that all people are equal and should be treated that way. I think this is the theme of the book because in the end the King wants to take over Nation but his daughter doesn't let him. She said that he couldn't have the island because it belonged to the people of Nation.
Here is the direct quote: ''He can't have this one!'' Daphne screamed. "He doesn't need it! He can't have it! He hasn't finished with Canada yet!" (Pratchett 328)
Only by the theme i can see that the book is interesting and that there is a good side and a bad side to it. I like the way you added the exact quote not just the page number and where is the example. :D
