The main setting of the book My Life with the Chimpanzees is the Gombe National Park. Gombe is the place where Jane's wish became true, she could finally study the chimpanzees. Gombe is a 30 square mile park, full of amazing plants and wildlife. It is located in the Kigoma Region, Tanzania, in Africa. The park had valley, Jane's tent was near by the fast-flowing Kakombe stream. The park was the home of the chimps, the main animal Jane studied.
