The protagonist is Perseus "Percy" Jackson, (Obviously, the name of the book is Percy Jackson...) he is 12 years old and he is a troubled kid. He has dyslexia and his grades at school are very low. The author does not describe his look. He sounds like a very nice guy, he is caring and nice to his best friend, Grover (which is a satyr). Percy is very curious, and wants to find out all the details about who is his dad and what happened to his mom and things like that. He gets mad a lot when people talk about his mother, someone he loves or just if someone is trying to get him mad. Although, it seems to me that he is very loving because he cares a lot about his mother and he almost died to save her, he wanted her to be with him because she makes him happy.

The Antagonist is all the scary creatures who want to kill him. For example Mrs. Dodds and the Minotaur
who made his mother disappear and things like that. I haven't read that far into the book so don't know about the bad guys so much. So, "things", people or animals are trying to kill him...

It is kind of Man vs. Man, Percy is the man and the creatures and killers are the other Mans. I haven't read a lot of the book, so this is what I know so far.
