THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING!

Author: J.R.R TOLKIEN

Number of pages: 50/423

Hello blog readers! My new book project book, is often to be refered as one of the clasics in the fiction world! Yes, I am talking about the first book in the amazing, epic and awesome LOTR (Lord of The Rings) trilogy! Well, so far, I can say that the book is not really intriguing..... It is all happening in the peaceful shire in middle earth.... Well, the main character, is Frodo Baggins. He is at his uncles house, and his uncle is good old Bilbo Baggins. The only thing that would be beautiful, if books had motion-pictures in them would be the fireworks at Bilbo's 111th birthday! In the mean while Gandalf arrives, and nothing really special happens.... One of the funny scenes in the book, is when boored Bilbo, takes the one ring, which provides the user and holder of the ring invisibility..... So Bilbo just sneaks out of the party to his comfortable Hobbit home.... So far, I would grade the book a 7/10. I gave this since the book is very artistic in terms of word choice, and the imagination of J.R.R Tolkien, is really incredible. On the other hand, nothing really exciting happens, except Gandalfs arrival.

The setting of the book so far, is peaceful Hobbitton, located in the Shire. Of course, this is all happening in fictional Middle-Earth, located in Arda. Now, the conflict of the story, is Saurons sudden rise to power, along with evil Saruman. Sauron, is the main protagonist in the story, who is wanting to rule middle earth.... In the second age, around 1500 years ago ( The time when this book is happening is around TA 3000), Sauron was killed by king Isildur, the leaderof the "Last alliance of Men and Elves".Isildur takes the one ring, but one day, he is ambushed by a groupof orcs, and the ring falls into a small pond. Gollum, then finds it. Then, during the Hobbit, Bilbo wins the One Ring with his riddles, and at the end of the Hobbit, he brings it back to Bag End.
Here is a quote proving that the setting is in Bag End, Hobbitton, The Shire:
"When Mr. Bilbo Baggins of Bag End announced that he would shortly be celebrating is "eleventy-first" birthday with a party of special magnificence, there was much talk and excitement in Hobbitton."

Tune in later for some more posts!
