Sara was being sent to a boarding school, because her dad felt like the climate of India was bad for children, hot blazing, or cold and wet during the monsoon. She had sometimes felt excited about leaving on a adventure, but was scared and sad about the thought that she would parting from her father. Sara's mother died when she was born. Sara and father took care of each other. It took them one week to reach London. The principle of the school, Miss Minchin was a selfish and greedy women. Her first 3 months of her school she was being respected. But soon something miserable happened on the day of her birthday. She was forced to live in poverty.
It's a very interesting book that you are reading, by the way what were the two words that you found hard, that's the only thing you are missing here, otherwise great book and an even better description/summary.
