I am reading a book called The Unwanted: The Island of legends. This book is about a boy named Alex Stowe he is now the head mage of Artime. In this book they go on an adventure to save Sky and Crows mom who is on pirate island. They travel there and they break into the place and that is what got up to. Pirate Island is an island that is above water for some time but then submerges itself after an hour or two. So Alex got Lani and Henry in the place because the pirates live under ground so they don't drown and the island submerged when Lani and Henry were inside so that is a problem.

Another word I didn't know was atrocities
Definition: an extremely wicked or cruel act, typically one involving physical violence or injury.
ISIS has done many atrocities to the world.
