Basic Summary:

In my book what basically happened was there is this boy named Greg Heffley he is the main character, he is going to school while living in his brother bad school shadow that basically means that his brother was really bad behaved in class he had bad grades and people don't like Greg because his brother left a bad impression on his generation. Greg likes a certain girl named Holly Hills and Greg is trying his best to become closer to her. Since Greg is the second born in his family he is tortured by his brothers every day but a remarkable thing happens where Greg brother does something he is not supposed to but Greg backs him up just for a while, because of that Greg older brother starts to appreciate him for a while until Greg lets the truth out to his mom about what happened and then once his older brother discovers the truth  about Greg telling on him he rages on Greg and says"we might be brother, but i will never be your friend again".Of course that breaks Greg and Greg is now depressed plus scared of his older brother and he is trying to become friends again but that only happens at the end. HInt(it has something to do with loaded diapers and a stage of corse). 

Two words I did not understand at first:

Regiment meaning: To keep a regular diet, exercise or way of living.

How to use this in a sentence: I am going to keep my regiment on going to school and playing with my friends.

Second word=Ad-Lib:

Ad-Lib meaning: To make up something on the spot.

How to use this in a sentence: Last week my brother made an ad-lib right in front of my face in my parents presence.
