The setting of this story is mostly in space on the battle school which is like a space station it is the second picture. In the battle school all of the wall are sloped and the living quarters are very cramped. Although when he gets promoted to commander he get a larger room just for himself. Later in the story he was moved to the command school he had a nice big room to himself. The command school was located in an old bugger moon so he was walking in the same passages as the buggers did before they cleared the small moon from buggers. The conflict in this story is man Vs. supernatural. This is so, because Ender and his friends are secretly fighting the bugger which are aliens that tried to take over the world. This conflict is happening because the humans have decided to attack the buggers now that they were more powerful and so they could get rid of the alien menace.
