Life of Pi
The story I am reading for my book project is called the Life of Pi it has 354 pages and was written by Yann Martel. It is a true story about how a boy survived on a boat alone with a tiger for 227 days. In the life of Pi, Pi patel has ended up on a boat with a 150 kilogram tiger.
The story is thrilling and exasperating it makes the reader think and makes me want to continue reading.
The Protagonist in this story is Pi patel he is an indian boy from Pondicherry. His father is and owner of a zoo. He has ended up with a 300 pound tiger alone on a sailboat. He is a middle aged man when he is narrating and describing this story to the author. He needs to take control over Richard. He is slim and slim man with dark hair. Pi has a kind heart and an expressive personality.
The antagonist in the story is Richard parker a 150 kilogram Bengal Tiger who has ended up with Pi on a lifeboat. He represent the uncertainty of life or death. Richard shows hints of kindness in his heart even though he is a mighty Bengal tiger. He is aggressive if he feels that some things will hurt him just like any tiger or animal would.
I have seen the movie and i must say this is a brilliant choice, Good Job Boris!
