A Long Walk to Water

The book that I have read for my third quarter book report is entitled A Long Walk to Water written by Linda Sue Park.  I have read all 120 pages of the book with joy.  Salva, the protagonist, faced many hardships through this story but I will write about the hardest he has gone through.  One of them is the war in Sudan which had torn up his family and damaged Salva's trust-ability and hope. To get through this hardship he had to just go on which was hard for him because he faced many horrible things.  Another hardship he when through was the fight at the Itang Refugee Camp in Ethiopia where only 2,500 people survived out of 10,000.  He was one of the lucky ones.  The fight was between the refugees and the Ethiopian army. He got through this hardship by using his best survival skills.  Those are the two major obstacles he had to go through and one thing you can do is to imagine you were in this situation. What would you do?
