The book that I have been reading is called 'Half Brother' that was written by Kenneth Oppel. The protagonist of this story is a boy named Ben Tomlin who is an an only child. At the beginning of the story, since Ben has no siblings, he is used to getting full attention from his parents. He doesn't always like this because Dad can sometimes be hard on him. Ben feels that his parents never ask for his opinion and he is often lonely. Ben's parents are workaholics (that means they work a lot) and they have many expectations from him since they are scientists. The antagonist of this story are Ben's parents in a way because even though they are not evil they did not consider asking how Ben felt about moving to Victoria and getting a chimp as his brother and they did not consider what would happen if Ben gets too attached to the chimp.
