Swim The Fly

Swim The Fly

This book is funny and really it is a good thing that it is in the upper school library. I think its would be interesting for ages from 11 to 14 for girls and boys. The book starts of with Matt the 15 year old boy falling in love with this new girl named Kelly. Matt decides  to swim the fly to impress Kelly. I think the story is man.vs.fate because if you mess up to impress a girl you just look stupid. A big conflict is when tony Kelly's ex-boyfriend gets cough cheating the 4th time Matt sees Tony kissing and doing other disgusting things then Tony beats Matt up and almost drowns him.

Matt is a fifteen year old boy, he is skinny and geeky. Hes no match for Kelly's ex-boyfriend Tony the super buff life saver. Matt is the geeky not so attractive type of guy and would have a very hard time getting a super hot, cute and beautiful girl to be his girlfriend. Matt has two best friends Cooper and Sean. Coop comes up with all these stupid plan to see naked girls but the plans always somehow fail.

Valerie is Kelly's best friend she plays a big part in the story shes always their for Matt to help him, For example when tony beat up Matt she was their to help him up and get ice fast. She is secretly in love with Matt and makes really obvious but Matt is to vaunt up in his Kelly fantasizing notice. Valerie is a cute, pretty and funny girl, the whole package and Matt is just not getting it. Well we will see till where she gets with her goal.
