The Reaper Man
by Terry Pratchett
353 pages
The protagonist and antagonist of this story are Death (protagonist, good guy) and a force (antagonist, bad thing). The antagonist was caused when the protagonist (Death) was given Time, anyone who has Time will die.
Death has loads of lifetimers with names written on the bottom. When the sand in the top runs out... That's when Death takes you away. The antagonist was made when Death found his name on one those lifetimers. So he set out to spend the rest of his life and forgot about all the dying people business for he was not Death any more. So when people died, he wasn't there to take them away. This caused a life force just floating around aimlessly over the Discworld, the kind of force you get in living things that disappears when they die balancing the force. But now with it staying even after its owner dies it is unbalanced, causing devastating things to happen.
The protagonist, Death then finds out there has been a mistake and he is Death again. So he is getting back to his business. Even though I am quite near to the end of the book, I still don't know if he solves it or if it's someone else. Though it seems that he is the main character fighting the force. Death is a seven foot tall skeleton, who has the power to change what people see right in front of their eyes. He is disguised as Mr. Bill Door, a seven foot tall man wearing old overalls and a straw brimmed hat instead of his cloak woven out of complete darkness. His personality is, well, nothing. He is described that way in the book. He is Death after all.

Great job!!! this is really excellent but does ti include the antagonist's name? I really like the theme because Death is the good guy instead of the bad guy.
