The Protagonist and Antagonist of Stranded

The Protagonist
In this novel there are two protagonists. One is Koby's mom Paige and the other one is Koby's dad Dutch. Why are they the protagonists, you might think? Well, when you look at it they are the protagonists because they don't think about Koby and always fight. Furthermore all those fights and misunderstandings between the two led to a break that Koby certainly didn't want. To me they are the protagonists because of that.
The Antagonist
The main character in this story and the so called antagonist is Koby Easton. She is a thirteen-year old girl that goes in seventh-grade. Koby in this novel saves a whale and its baby. She goes every day to visit them in the sea. It's hard to find them because they change their location almost every time but she is determined. Koby is sad at times because her parents broke up and now she is living only with her mother. The other thing that gets her sad is that she only has one leg. I will see what happens to her and what phases in life she would go through by continuing reading this amazing book!
