The Fellowship of the Ring - Antagonist and Protagonist

Hi guys. I will be telling who is the antagonist(the bad guy) and who is the protagonist(the good guy).

The antagonist is Sauron, the guy who created the ring. He created the ring in Mordor, forged in the depths of Orodruin, the volcano in Mordor. He lost it in a battle against the elves by getting his hand cut off. Isildur, who slayed Sauron, died a couple of years later, getting killed by Orcs. The ring fell in a river and in the hands of the most unexpected person. Sauron now seeks the ring with his eye. His eye is at the top of the tower in Mordor and he can see anything if the ring carrier puts it on. He has sent out armies to find the carrier and the ring. He wants the ring because it could give him so much power that he could rule Middle Earth.

The protagonists are the Fellowship of the Ring. They are a group of men who guard the ring. Their leader is Frodo Baggins and Gandalf. Frodo's three friends are in the group and four brave men are with them. Their mission is to take the ring to Orodruin, the only place that can destroy it.
