The Fault in our stars

The book I am reading right now is called The Fault in our Stars. by John Green is about a girl Hazel that has lung cancer. The setting of this book is in America and Amsterdam. The plot (so far) of this book is a Hazel and a boy called Augustus meet at a Cancer Support Group and have become good friends. Augustus then recommends a book called "An Imperial Affliction" By Peter Van Houten and Hazel loves it so much she writes to the author and told him her recommendations and why she liked the book. Peter wrote back and told her that she was welcome to come to Amsterdam and have an interview with him. Hazel and Augustus said yes of course but there was work to be done. Since Hazel still has cancer she needs approval from her doctor that she can travel. Her doctor says a flat no at first but Hazels mom persuades her to make it happen for her daughter. They get to go and Hazel is overjoyed. I think the theme of this book is never give up except when you can't go on, and i think this goes for ll of us even if we don't have any cancer we should never give up.
