Enders Game

Enders Game

By: Orson Scott Card

I have recently started reading the novel Ender's Game, by: Orson Scott Card. I have read 278 pages out of a total of 324. This novel is based in the future when aliens called the "buggers" attack planet earth, and even 70 years later after the first of two invasion humans are still preparing an attack towards the buggers. Thats were Ender comes in, he is the novels protagonist and a "third", he is called a third because in the future people are only allowed two children for populations sake, and Ender has an older brother Peter and a older sister Valentine. His parents had permission for a third child because both Peter and Valentine were promising candidates for command school, command school is where children go to learn necessary techniques for war with the buggers. The obstacles Ender has faced throughout the novel, Ender's Game are not being accepted by his peers when he most needed their support, and having to fight a war at such a young age. Ender deals with the obstacle of not being accepted by his peers by focusing all his attention on his studies. Although Ender does not face the obstacle of fighting a war at a young age till the near end of the book, but when he does face that obstacle he overcomes it by opening up to his sister, Valentine.

  1. DEAR ANA,
VERY INTRIGUING AND INTERESTING BOOK YOU HAVE GOT THEIR! THIS SCI-FI STORY SEEMS TO BE VERY WELL WRITTEN, AND A LOT OF IMAGINATION PUT INTO IT! NEXT TIME YOU SHOULD MAYBE WRITE A BIT MORE, SINCE THE BOOK IS AFTER ALL 324 PAGES LONG!
    SINCERELY,
    NL
