Gennifer Choldenko is american writer how won a Newbery Honor Book award. Although she started her career in advertising soon she returned to her first love, writing. In her stories mane characters were between 12 and 16 so writing for children become a natural fit. She grew up in a family with many children and soon established her self as a funny one at home. Her unique sense of humor is what makes her writing special. Her first book ''Notes From A Lier And Her Dog '' received great criticism as well as School Library Journal best book of the year award. Her next work Al Capone Does My Shirts was even more successful.
