I am reading the novel To Kill a Mockingbird, and as some of you might know, this used to be a banned book. The award it has won is called the Pulitzer Prize, and was awarded to Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird in 1961, one year after she wrote the book. This novel has not only won this award, but it has also been translated into more than 40 languages, more than 30 million copies sold worldwide and has been made into a very popular movie. It has also been voted "Best Novel of the Century" by librarians.
