The book Elijah of Buxton has two awards which are Newberry Honor Award and Coretta Scott King Award. These awards are very similar. The Coretta Scott King Award is given to all authors who wrote about African-American stories for young children. The Newberry Honor Award is given to all authors who wrote the most characteristic contribution to American literature for children.
