cskwinnerseal.jpgMy book is called Elijah of Buxton written by Christopher Paul Curtis which contains 341 pages. My book won many awards but I will only tell you two of them. The first one is the 2008 Coretta Scott King Award. This award is only given to the books that show appreciation to African American Culture and universal cultures. This award is named after Martin Luther King Jr.'s wife, Mrs. Coretta Scott King for her courage and continuing the work of peace. The second award is the 2008 Newbery Honor. This award was named after John Newbery who was a English publisher. The Newbery Honor was proposed by Federic G. Melcher, making this award the first children's book award in the whole entire world. This book must be a good book, for it has won many awards.
