Matilda by Roald Dahl




 

Sumary:
A Girl from a higher grade tell Matilda and Lavender all about Miss Trunchbull and how she punishes children. One way is she puts them into the chokey. Bruce Bogtrotter is a boy who loves sweets. He steals Miss Trunchbull's cake and eats it for the punishment he has to eat a huge cake in front of the whole school. In the end Bruce manages to eat the cake, but it seams that Miss Trunchbull isn't very happy.

Author:
Roald Dahl was born in Wales,1916, but was from Norway. He died in 1990. R.D had a sister whodied when he was five, weeks later his father died. The book The Withes heis sortof the story of his life. He was a fighter pilot in World War II, He also warked some Shell oil company in East Africa. The last and final job he did was to be an author. R.D writes book that are somehow connected to him.

  3. I love this book so much I read it about ten times already. i like the way you explained what happened in that part of the book and used nice wording. The book is filled with charm and ups and downs for the main character, Matilda. Enjoy the rest of it!
