The main characters in this book is Anya, her younger sister Kazia and her parents.Anya is a twelve years old girl which is from Poland,Krakow.She moves from Poland to England three years after her father with her mum and sister.She has a great supporting family which thinks about their future and whats best for them.In real life i would be friends with her because she is a good person she is willing to try knew things even though she is shy.
