The book Liar,Liar Pants on Fire is about a girl named Zoe who finished second grade and started third grade. She finds third grade so difficult that she has to lie to everyone about everything including why she is late, why she doesn't do her homework, etc. By doing this, she gets in a circle of lies from which she is trying to get out of.
