The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

Author: Mark Twain
 Number of pages: 282

An orphan and his brother Sydney came to live to St. Petersburg after their mother's death with their aunt Polly. Polly finds Tom eating out of the jam closet, During dinner aunt Polly tries to trick Tom into admitting that he played hockey from school that day to go swimming. Aunt Polly apologizes to Tom for being suspicious , then tom's brother wants to be the cool Boy of the village, points out that Tom's shirt is sewn together with black thread instead of the white thread that Aunt Polly had used that morning. Before she can punish him, Tom runs away from the house. In the street Tom runs into a well-dressed boy,  after a verbal fight, Tom and the nameless boy begin to fight at each other until Tom finally wins. Tom returns home late in the evening by climbing in through the window, but Aunt Polly catches him.

I would like to visit St. Petersburg because it has beautiful architecture and fresh nature. I also heard that in the summer sun light is very long and nights are very short. I find this very exciting.
