Pride and Prejudice

Pride and Prejudice
Author: Jane Austen
  Number of Pages: 304
Lana Beko

The setting of this book is in a little fictional town Meryton near London in the 19th century. I like the fact that the story is taking place in the English country because the description is showing the manners, education, and upbringing of the sisters Bennet, their parents, and the whole local society. They are very exited when they have guests from London, and it's obvious that they're way of living is different. I had a nice impression of a country life in England, 200 years ago, but I wouldn't be proud by living in a small town today, because I prefer more the city life.
