Conflict in 'Dead End in Norvelt'

By: Jack Gantos

In my book "Dead End in Norvelt" there is a boy named Jack Gantos who is very excited to have a fun summer with his dads army things (such as; knives, guns, binoculars, etc.)
The main conflict in the story (so far) is that after using his dads things without permission and accidentally shooting a real bullet he is forced to go help a neighbor do her chores because his mom has volunteered him, making him give up on his fun summer plans
