The conflict in my book is with a boy Mullet Finger and his step sister Beatrice which are in a conflict with people which own a pancake restaurant. Under the place where the restaurant stands is a owl nest. Their conflict is about protecting the owls because they are planing to bulldoze the place so they would improve the building. By bulldozing the restaurants only some owls will have a chance to escape which would be mostly grown ones, while they are flying free their babies are drowning in the dirt.  At the beginning of their work they tried to sabotage them by bringing alligators to the construction site as well as snakes. I think that the conflict will be resolved so they would not bulldoze the place because Mullet Finger is going to stand up for the owls with the help of Roy's dad which works with the Law Inforcment.
