Surviving the Applewhites

Surviving the Applewhites is about a boy name Jake who was being adopted by some family that he never knew and never met in his life. The family’s last name is Applewhite they are very happy to have a new family member except for E.D she is the middle child she is the only one who bother to read about him and she found that he is the total opposite of her. The day was slowly coming then they heard a car horn beep it was the Jake and his uncle they came a day early, E.D wasn't even expecting them to come. A boy with red dyed hair with spikes black shirt black pants and too many earrings to count jumped out of the car and slammed the door shut. The Applewhites came out to greet him but E.D and the oldest that never comes out of his room but Destiny. The next day Jake got up last but since his door was shut he thought no one else was up so he went to his bathroom to spike his hair up and got dressed e came to the table and asked E.D when they usually go to school E.D said that she doesn't go to school she is home schooled.  Jake had no breakfast that day. 30 days later Jake was at his desk not paying attention as usual but then he heard the word project and he froze to hear what it was about it was the butterfly project it was E.D favorite project and she had to partner up with him she wasn’t planning on letting him do anything. First she did a bit of research then 0 days later she started catching butterflies. Jake came out and E.D said if you don’t like it here then you can just go to juvenile hall. Jake stopped for a seconded then asked her what it’s like their and she said you’ve never been their well if you’re asking me I think it’s a horrible place that you would definitely fit in. One morning Jake woke up and according to his clock it said 5:00 Destiny came into his room and started annoying him about his hair he asked “why is it read? Does it always stick up in spikes did you paint it like that? Can you paint it in different colors? Can you do my hair like that I would paint it in blue I like that color.” Jake got really annoyed so he went to the bathroom but Destiny followed him he started putting it up in spikes destiny watched so carefully.

My favorite quote from the bock is from when Destiny was annoying Jake about his hair and when he asked him “Your hair is all messed and flat. I told you! Nobody got hair that sticks up in points like that.
