At one point of the book The Cay Phillip and Timothy hear a engine of a sea plane far away. Timothy believes the plane is looking for them to take them to land. Phillip is trying to figure out if the plane is coming their way and suddenly they cant hear the plane any more and again they are all alone in the ocean. Timothy makes Phillip laugh that's the first laugh that Phillip had all day. The main conflict of this story suppose is that Phillip and Timothy will ever get rescued. I think that Phillip's dad sends out a search party and the search party plane or ship finds them.
